Since founding BlueKey in 2000, Ben has played a vital role in guiding the company through significant growth and expansion, and developing BlueKey as a leading boutique web services provider throughout the Southeast region.
With over 11 years experience in the web services industry, Ben's skills and expertise include web/interface design, project management, Internet marketing, and usability consulting. As Chief Creative Officer of BlueKey, Ben manages business development operations and creative design processes, as well as BlueKey's usage of Web 2.0 capabilities.
In 2009, Tony Powell of Knowledge Capital Group (KCG), partnered with BlueKey, Inc. to develop and oversee the execution of the company's strategic business plan. Tony has been involved in helping the BlueKey team to develop their long-term business strategy as well as overseeing their day-to-day implementation needs. As Managing Director of KCG, Tony provides expertise in business performance optimization and process improvement strategies. Before KCG, Tony served as the Vice President of Professional Services and Enterprise Sales for Blackbaud, where he provided strategic direction and overall P&L management for this 300-person, $97 million division.
John's blood runs Orange, Clemson Orange. After graduating from Clemson University, John began a sales career working with businesses on implementing a variety of projects. From equipping banks with one of the first internet banking platforms in the 90's, to launching LivingSocial in Charleston, to designing custom Facebook pages, John has consulted with businesses to uncover their needs and design complete solutions. As a recovering Certified Financial Planner (CFP) John can model different strategies that will help drive activity and increase sales and revenue.
Away from the office, John spends most of his time outdoors split between working in the yard and having fun with his wife Mary and two daughters Louisa and Garland.
Kirsten brings 4 years of professional marketing and project management experience to the team. She serves as a project manager for the Charleston, SC office. After receiving a B.A. in Telecommunication Arts and a B.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, Kirsten worked as a project manager for an advertising agency in Atlanta before moving to Charleston, SC. She then worked in marketing and business development at a local web based company before joining the Blue Key team. With a passion for sports and spending time outdoors, Kirsten can be found watching Georgia football games in the fall, attending Charleston Riverdogs games in the spring, or playing various sports such as softball, dodgeball and kickball year round.
Stacey's creative eye and strong organizational skills make her an asset to any web project. Leveraging her professional background in Internet marketing account management Stacey is able to deliver client solutions with a focus on search engine optimization and social media marketing.
A theatre geek at heart, she has an Arts Management degree from the College of Charleston where she found the only sport she has ever played, ultimate frisbee. Stacey is an active member on the Charleston American Marketing Association's board and can often be found participating in various events around the Charleston community.
With 7 years experience in web and graphic design as well as all aspects of video production Jeremy brings unique and fresh ideas to any project. Jeremy is very knowledgeable of many industry standard platforms and applications. A lifelong Shenandoah Valley resident, Jeremy is and currently lives in Harrisonburg, VA with his Wife Erin, daughters Taylor and Ava, and dogs Roxie and Charlie.
With 9 years of professional design experience in advertising, print, packaging, and web, Oleg brings an exceptional contribution to the team. He has won numerous state and national awards for his unique design work and has been published in several industry design books. He enjoys spending time with family, being involved with his church, snowboarding, playing soccer, and creating art.
With nearly 11 years of web based software development under his belt Nick has a wide array of experience in the industry. With expertise in multiple programming languages Nick feels most at home in a LAMP environment and enjoys designing and developing software architecture. When hes not at a computer you can find him spending time with his wife, Grace, and two kids Gabriel and Celeste.
15 years of web development later, Mike is still waiting for the blink tag to make a comeback. He enjoys telling his kids Andrew and Hannah they'll have to shovel if it snows, but he and his wife Kathy haven't owned a snow shovel since leaving Cape Cod years ago. Mike is a Microsoft .NET guy by trade and has developed on more database systems than he can say in one breath.
Kaye Wallace is a finance and accounting specialist for BlueKey. She keeps the books balanced and the cash flowing. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of Charleston.
