Local Web and Video Companies Create Partnership
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Local Web and Video Companies Create Partnership
July 10th, 2007 Harrisonburg, VA
BlueKey Inc., a Harrisonburg-based Web development and Internet marketing company, and DIGICO, a Harrisonburg-based video and multimedia production firm, have established a partnership to enhance their respective services and collaborate on the development of new innovative web-based video products.
The partnership was created when DIGICO decided to phase out its Web development division in order to enhance and expand their video production services. "We wanted to continue offering clients the best of all marketing, advertising, and communication tools," Ryan Berry, DIGICO owner and producer, said. "When we mentioned our change of direction to BlueKey they offered their Web services for our current and future clients."
"BlueKey has a large staff and experience in all the areas our clients are looking for: design, programming, Internet marketing, an award-winning content management system, and the support structure for huge clients," Berry said. Both companies continue to work with other video and Web companies across the country.
DIGICO's web manager, Jeremy Forehand, is now employed by BlueKey to act as a bridge between companies and transition clients.
"Having Jeremy's knowledge of both web and video is invaluable," Ben Cash, BlueKey founder, said. "We're able to offer more options to clients right out of the box."

BlueKey Website Wins Top Regional Award
October 27, 2006
About the Award
Each year, the Public Relations Society of America hosts its Summit Awards competition to honor excellence in public relations. The competition honors the years top entries based on research, planning, execution, and results. At their awards ceremony, on the 27th of October, the Blue Ridge Chapter of the PRSA awarded the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce with the 2006 Silver Summit Award for Website Development.
The Development Process
The Chamber hired BlueKey to design and develop a completely new website that would better reflect the stature of the organization. The Chamber's goals were threefold: first, to upgrade to a more contemporary visual design and integrate new branding concepts; second, to create a site with more interactive tools and information in order to better serve members as well as recruit new ones; and third, to put in place website management tools that would allow the Chamber staff to easily manage and update the website internally. BlueKey was able to meet these needs within budget and launch the new site in time to enter it into the PRSA awards competition.

BlueKey Partners with Hardy Telecommunications
December 1, 2005
Hardy Telecommunications, an established telecommunications company in West Virginia, approached BlueKey in the fall of 2005 about forming a partnership to provide web development services to its customers. Rather than to continue to employ an internal web development team, Hardy Telecommunications sought to use BlueKey as an outsourced alternative.
Hardy chose BlueKey for the quality of their work and their suite of website management tools that would put their customers in control of their own web sites and thus relieve the burden of ongoing site management.
BlueKey looks forward to a long prosperous partnership with Hardy Telecommunications.
