Software Engineer (Web)

We specialize in custom web application development, e-commerce & content management systems, strategic Internet marketing, and web site design.
We currently have an opening for a full-time Software Engineer at our Charleston office. As a Software Engineer at BlueKey, you will work with a talented group of developers and designers, building exciting custom applications from the ground up. The applications often have national exposure, many promoted by aggressive advertising campaigns.
This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in web application development. Most importantly, it requires passion for web technologies, the continual desire to learn, and the ability to work in a small team environment.
Specifically, the position requires the following:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- 5+ years of experience with the following:
- Object Oriented Programming
- PHP & related languages
- MySQL
- JavaScript
- Experience with AJAX, XML, Action Script/Flex, CSS
- Working knowledge of Linux and Apache
- Ability to work and integrate with previously written code
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

Ecommerce Project Manager

We specialize in custom web application development, e-commerce & content management systems, strategic Internet marketing, and web site design.
BlueKey currently has an opening for a full-time Ecommerce Project Manager at our Harrisonburg office. As an Ecommerce Project Manager at BlueKey, you will be responsible for managing ecommerce website development projects and implementing several high-profile internet marketing campaigns.
Our ideal candidate has 3 - 5+ years of experience managing web development projects and working knowledge of internet marketing techniques and search engine optimization.
Requirements include:
- Working knowledge of basic web and e-commerce concepts, tools and technologies (no programming skills required)
- Strong communication and people skills, both oral and written.
- Experience leading a development team
- Client "needs assessment" skills
- Working knowledge of common internet marketing strategies and search engine optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with web and graphics editing software
